Driving Along a Blue Stream

A long time ago, I tagged along on my father's business trip to Kyushu region of Japan.  Driving through the mountains in eastern Kyushu was unforgettably beautiful.

There's not a single photograph from that trip, so I tried to paint the memory of the passing scenery of sparkling sunlight, fresh green of early summer, and the intense blue of a clear mountain stream.
