We had beautiful blue sky for weeks and one day we're having a plein air had to be cloudy. Why, oh, why...
Good thing Barrington Hall is so beautifully landscaped. There were plenty of subject matters in spite of not so perfect lighting. Many people decided not to come because of the cloudy weather, but I think it's beneficial to challenge oneself with different lighting.
I painted in cool color palette to emphasize the overcast light.
