A painting in progress - Thunderstorm over Miami

A rough value sketch of a huge afternoon thunderstorm over a highway.

 This is a painting I've been contemplating for a very long time.  Summer thunderstorms in Miami can be a tower of dynamic cloud formations.  This storm had a break in the middle where streaks of light came through in a beautiful pattern.
